mitchell: SUMMER FUN!

Summertime...

love summer, and I can't believe it is over and school is back in session! We had a great summer, but it went by way too fast- I love having all my kids home all day and being able to go out and do fun stuff as a family- Here are a few of the fun things we did this summer...

This is a really long post- sorry!:)

Seven Peaks water park-

My kids love to swim and slide and play so they had a blast at Seven Peaks- Gavin loved the water slides and wave pool- He actually would totally get mad as soon as the slide ended and wanted to go again, and again, and again! The girls went on a few slides and rides and actually got scared on a few- maybe next year they will enjoy the rush a little more- but we all had a great time and we all crashed as soon as we got home- good times!

Daddy-Son outing up in the mountains-

Charlie took Gavin up Payson Canyon for a little father-son time- They went exploring, made a fire and roasted marshmellows, and played- They both love to be outdoors so they both had a great time- Love, love my boys!

just having a good time outside at Dad's house- Kevin and I went out shopping for clothes for his girls and decided to buy this giant spraying beach ball for the kids to play with...and for Kevin and Ryan-

Noah's Ark at Thanksgiving Point-

Kacy and I took our kids up to Noah's Ark to play- The kids loved it and I loved it because the water is not deep at all and it's just a small, cute little wadding pool for them to play in and for us to relax, chat, and get a little sun-

Peck family Barbeque-

My stepbrother, Doug, and his cute family and my stepsister, Becky, came into town for a visit- So we got together for a barbeque dinner- it was so good to see them- it had been way too long since we had last seen them- They got to meet Gavin for the first time, and we were able to get to know their youngest little boy, Sam- My kids had a great time playing and eating yummy food and homemade ice cream-

Camping with the Mitchell family at Timpanokee-

the Mitchell's love to camp and try to do it a few times during the summer- I came up with Gavin for a night and joined them- It was beautiful outside and totally dirty (with several horse corales for the kids to roll around in the dirt in) but the kids all had a great time- I am not a huge camper, but I can handle a short camping experience- It definitely was a task keeping up with Gavin, but he had fun and that's all that matters-right?!

We went up to my Dad's house for another little barbeque and to let the kids play with some of their cousins- My brother, Kevin, had a slip 'n' slide so we set it up and the kids had a good time!
