My three "cats"...on Halloween

For Halloween this year, my girls wanted to be kitty-cats, and they looked so cute all dressed up- Camryn wore her costume around the house days before Halloween and practiced her "meow"- she seriously cracks me up! Gavin was in the "cat family" as a leopard- also looked really cute- They all had fun trick or treating, and it was so fun watching Gavin trying to eat the candy as soon as he got it-wrapper and all!- Charlie was working on our house so we missed him, but the kids scored on some treats and had a good time- Halloween isn't the same without our fun, crazy, silly Halloween-loving Daddy! Next year Charlie- After some tricks or treats, the kids watched the classic, It's a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, and played with some of their cousins- After some more sugar, it was time for bed so Mommy could watch a scary movie! Love Halloween, hope you all had a good one!

Seriously...so sad!

Gavin's first brawl with the "naughty" bed frame!
Charlie was putting my little man to bed a little over a week ago and I guess Gavin wasn't quite ready to go, so he decided to protest and throw a tantrum-( or he was grumpy and over tired?!) He threw his head back and fell against the bed- I heard him screaming so I went to go see what was up and found him bleeding and his eye swelling up- The "momma bear" kicked in and I was not to happy with the husband but totally know it was not his fault at all- Sorry Charlie! He cried for about 45 minutes, which is so not like him, so I rocked him and attempted to hold an ice pack on his eye which he wasn't liking- He finally fell asleep and in the morning his poor little eye was black and blue and swollen! Makes me so sad when my little bambinos get hurt! Poor baby-
pictures were taken a few days later, so the swelling was way down and you can see his handsome dark brown eyes-

Camryn's 4th birthday

Happy Birthday Camryn!

Camryn's down vest makes her look a little "puffy?!"

At the beginning of October,
my baby girl, Camryn, turned 4! OuuuWeee...seriously time flies when you're a mommy- I remember as a kid how days seemed soo long and now...not so much! I love being a mom and watching my kids grow up right before my eyes- What a precious and incredible gift to be given- To be able to bring a life into this world and love them so much that words can't even describe and watch them learn and grow...seriously amazing- I truly feel blessed...
Anyhoo...sorry to go off on that, but sometimes things happen in life where you stop and take a look at your own and realize how truly blessed you are and to not take things for granted- love, love my family- all of you!
Soooo.....
For Camryn's birthday, she got to choose what she wanted to do, so it was McDonalds and Cornbelly's(a local corn maze, pumpkin patch, and everything else)!
We had so much fun at Cornbelly's- We rode slides, jumped on huge blow up trampolines, walked through a corn maze, watched pig races, dressed up in princess outfits, "ran" through the Haunted Creature, hayrides, fired some paint ball guns, face painting, and just played! The kids had a blast and Gavin had a permanent grin on his face...he was free outside all day to explore! My Dad and stepmom, Susan, came down and went with us and had a great time with the kids- It was so fun to get to spend the day with them- Camryn opened presents and we had a sorry looking cake mommy made and tried to make look better with lots and lots of frosting! It was good times and Camryn got a princess bike she has been wanting- Now she can keep up with her sister on her "big girl" bike-
Happy 4th Birthday Camryn! We love you!

All in September...

The weekend of Megan's birthday, Charlie's family all went camping, so Charlie took our girls up for a night to have a little outdoor fun- The next morning was her birthday, so they all celebrated it at breakfast- They all had a great time playing games, playing with cousins, eating lots of food, hanging out by the camp fire, and getting nice and dirty- Charlie and both my girls love to camp and I'm sure as soon as Gavin gets old enough, he will too...me not so much- But I am so glad they had a blast-

-----------------------------------------------------------------
So my sweet Meggie had another birthday...I can't believe she is 7! Crazy how time flies! Megan is such a loving, beautiful, smart little girl who is growing up way too fast- We all love and adore her and are so thankful she is ours! We hope you had fun birthday- love you Megan-

My little brother was in town and dropped by to help celebrate

------------------------------------------------------
So now that Megan is in school most of the day, it's just me and these two little rascals at home- I love watching them play togehter...It's been fun hanging out with them and seeing their sibling "friendship" grow- Love, love all my kids!

Love my baby boy's big smile!

Love, love her big blue eyes!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last Sunday, we decided to go on another family drive since it was beautiful weather and the leaves are changing, so we headed up Provo Canyon and did the Alpine Loop and stopped at Sundance and the Cascade Springs- Sooo gorgeous...the pictures don't do any justice...but it really was pretty and fun to get out as a family- I love Utah in the Fall...I just wish they lasted longer- So my favorite time of the year!

summer fun...now school has begun

So summer is coming to an end and fall is just around the corner- It has been a fun summer, but I love the Fall so I am totally ready for the change- Over the summer, we got to do some fun things as a family, which I always love- We spent the hot days at the local city pool, and our kiddie pool out in the front yard- The girls love to swim and Gavin is loving it too- My Mom was able to come out for a few weeks and visit, which is always fun- While she was here, she helped us with Gavin so we could enjoy going to Seven Peaks, the carnival, and on a date! It has also been fun getting together with family and friends, going on family walks, getting snow-cones or ice cream on hot summer nights, and staying up late watching movies- The last few months went by way too fast, but we had some good times-
So with summer almost over, school is now in session and my little Megs started first grade on Wednesday- She was so excited to go...I, on the other hand, not so much- It was fun to go and do school shopping with her, but when it came time for her to go to her first day of class...I cried...a lot! So not expecting that, but the tears just kept coming- It is hard watching your kids get older- at least it is for me! But she is loving school and everything about- I hope she has a great year-

Beautiful Sunday drive

On the Sunday before last, it was gorgeous out, so we decided to take a Sunday drive through the Uinta National Forest-Nebo Loop- It was a perfect summer day to do it...70 degrees, sunny, blue skies...beautiful! We stopped at a creek to walk around for a bit and explore- Charlie and the girls found some fish and had fun throwing rocks into the creek, while Gavin found a crazy looking stick and was fully entertained- The drive was so pretty and relaxing- We haven't been through there since Megs was a tiny baby- We also stopped at the Devil's Kitchen and admired the amazing state we live in- So beautiful! It was fun to get out and have some family time together- love, love days like this-

I finally got around to making my girls some dresses

Gavin's 1st Birthday!

For Gavin's 1st birthday, we went to the park as a family- My mom was in town visiting from Kansas, so it was fun to have her with us- Gavin loves to be outside and play so that's what we did! After playing and taking some pictures, we went to dinner at Zupas- sooo good! Then we headed home and had cake- Janell and her family, and Grandpa & Grandma Mitchell were there to celebrate with us- I attempted to make his birthday cake and it actually turned out kind of cute...toot, toot! He had so much fun digging into his cake and eating it- my boy has a big appetite! He made quite the mess, but it was so much fun watching him go at it! Needless to say, after cake...he got a bath- After he was all squeaky clean, we opened presents- He played with the wrapping paper, while his sisters and cousins played with the toys- love it! After playing for bit, it was time for bed- We snuggled for awhile until he fell asleep- Love snuggles! Hopefully he had a fun 1st birthday!- I can't believe my baby is one! I seriously love my little man!

love, love the swings!
I think Gavin looks like his daddy...so handsome!

Happy Birthday Gavin

On Sunday, we all headed up to my Dad's to celebrate Gavin's birthday with my family- My sister and her family were in town, and my brother and his family came down from Logan to celebrate with us- My stepmom, Susan, was so sweet and made a huge taco salad bar, Cafe Rio style, for dinner- Then we had cake and ice cream, and opened a few presents- Afterwards, we all headed outside to hang out, play, and take a few pictures-

My baby boy turned 1 on July 25th!
I can't believe my little man is getting sooo big! It's kind of sad watching your baby become a toddler, but it is also so fun to watch them change, learn, and grow- He is such a cute, funny, sweet little guy and we all love him like crazy- He has such a cute personality and he loves when you laugh...and I love to hear his little contagious laugh- His sisters can really get him going- He loves to entertain and for people to clap at the funny things he does- He is so fun to watch and play with- Gavin loves to play ball, and actually has a pretty good throw going- He likes toy cars, his tool set, riding and pushing his "Winnie the Pooh" car, being read to, and being outside- He loves bath time and splashing at the pool- He has mastered walking and he likes to feed himself- such a big boy! He loves to explore and is such a curious little Jorje! We definitely have to keep a close eye on him- Gavin has been such a blessing to our family and we all love him so much-
Happy 1st Birthday!
