Easter

Ahhh...Easter in Utah! We woke up Easter morning to some nice cold weather and...snow! The kids didn't seem to mind, they were having fun checking out their baskets of goods- After they got their baskets, we had a yummy breakfast and enjoyed the morning- In the afternoon, we headed for Grandpa and Grandma Mitchell's house for a delicious Easter lunch-
After eating, we all headed to the hospital to be with Charlie's grandpa-

The night before, we had fun decorating some eggs- Our "monster" eggs turned out too cute! toot-toot!

The girls woke up bright and early to see what the Easter bunny left- Love the hair!

Gavin checking out his "goods"-

playing with the Easter eggs at Grandma's house

My favorite egg- love it!

On Easter Sunday, Charlie's grandfather, Ervin Goodman, passed away peacefully-
he was surrounded by family and was able to say goodbye to his loved ones-
Ervin was an intelligent, honest, loving man and will be missed-

The next weekend we traveled down to Farmington, NM for the funeral- Ervin was honored with the 21 gun salute for serving in the military during World War II- It was so incredible to be there and honor him with all his family and friends-

Your "Littles" are getting so big! Sure do miss 'em. Looks like you all had loads of fun even tho you had a white Easter.
Sorry to hear of Charlie's grandpa's passing. What a blessing it is to know that families can be FOREVER. Love you bunches, Mom
