summer fun...now school has begun

So summer is coming to an end and fall is just around the corner- It has been a fun summer, but I love the Fall so I am totally ready for the change- Over the summer, we got to do some fun things as a family, which I always love- We spent the hot days at the local city pool, and our kiddie pool out in the front yard- The girls love to swim and Gavin is loving it too- My Mom was able to come out for a few weeks and visit, which is always fun- While she was here, she helped us with Gavin so we could enjoy going to Seven Peaks, the carnival, and on a date! It has also been fun getting together with family and friends, going on family walks, getting snow-cones or ice cream on hot summer nights, and staying up late watching movies- The last few months went by way too fast, but we had some good times-
So with summer almost over, school is now in session and my little Megs started first grade on Wednesday- She was so excited to go...I, on the other hand, not so much- It was fun to go and do school shopping with her, but when it came time for her to go to her first day of class...I cried...a lot! So not expecting that, but the tears just kept coming- It is hard watching your kids get older- at least it is for me! But she is loving school and everything about- I hope she has a great year-

I think I would cry just as much if I were you! It's such a big deal when they grow a little older and do the next big thing. It's so much fun! But I hope it doesn't happen too fast.
